On Friday February 29th 2008, Jaron's Mom along with Sharon King and their team of surgeon's were honored at Utah's State Capitol. This was all because during the month of June, Jaron's Mom Debra donate half of her liver to Sharon, who was suffering from chronic liver failure.
After the ceremony at the Capitol, FOX 13 News did a brief story and interviewed them. This was special not only because of the circumstances and story behind it all, but also because there was a special someone seated on Grandma Debbie's lap. (Insert Fatherly pride statement)
